Anna Shcherbakova: I am very satisfied with my performance, I completed the task. Moreover, I am very glad, today, surprisingly, I was practically not nervous. I was very calmly from the very first accent, controlled every movement, jump, spin, this is very important. Therefore, I am satisfied.

Yes, new skates, but I would like not to focus attention on it, it did not bother me. I change skates very often during the season. Of course, I didn’t want it to happen here, but I was ready for it. I don’t see this as a big problem. Perhaps there will be no medal at the end of the competition? It’s too early to talk about it, the free program is still ahead. There are no medals yet, so it’s too early to say.

Yes, I cried in training. I’m just very emotional, it’s a pretty typical state for me. The main thing is to get together at the right time.

I didn’t read news…. This does not affect my training, this is the most important thing. I don’t comment on Kamila at all. We communicate personally with her, but I will not comment in any way.

Am I upset that I didn’t compete in the team event? The answer is probably obvious (takes a long pause and looks away), I’m hardly happy with this decision, but probably it’s very important now to focus on the free program and not lose your chance here. And maybe only after the Olympic Games I’ll realize how I feel about it. Of course, until the last we thought, what the decision would be. But there is no guarantee that the federation would have made such a decision.
