Oh God, seeing those photos from Beijing brought back a lot of memories…
BTW, curious if the smog is really so bad or they just thought “OK, so it’s Beijing, we need to wear these funny masks”.
It has more to do with getting sick in crowded places (like planes). You’ll see this more in Japan.
As for the air quality. It is pretty bad.
But my question is – is it bad for Beijing or European standards? :D
I have lived in Beijing for a year and really – what we usually call “bad air quality” here is usually “an average air quality” in Beijing :)
I am in holidays for two weeks without WiFi, I just found a spot with a really slow WiFi… I have missed so many competitions, literally as I will wait in the airport on my way back I will just watch figure skatin, but thanks to your blog I could follow a bit with my slowly WiFi ! Thanks a lot ! You are amazing !
