“I have never done some exercises before; it is interesting to work with different specialists. Everything is new, different choreography, different approach, it’s interesting,” Trusova said of her work under the guidance of coach Svetlana Sokolovskaya.

The athlete admitted that old injuries hardly prevent her from preparing.

“Injuries are rarely completely healed; you always go on the ice earlier and start skating. In general, everything is fine. It almost does not interfere with work on jumps and programs.

I am preparing for the Russian Nationals, we decided that I would prepare for it. I compare two stages (Russian Grand Prix): in Sochi it was a little worse, in Samara it was a little better, so we see some work being done. I will try my best,” she added.

The Russian Nationals will be held December 22-25 in Krasnoyarsk.
