The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) also confirmed the information about the breakup of the ice dance duo Annabelle Morozov and David Narizhny.
“Such a pair no longer exists, they will not compete at the Russian Nationals,” said Alexander Kogan, President of the FFKR.
Morozov and Narizhny have been skating together since the beginning of the current season.

Nikolai Morozov: When the pair was just created, we discussed a specific plan for joint work that included periodic trips to the United States for internships with American specialists.
Annabelle and David spent the summer in America, which allowed the guys to progress a lot: at the Russian Grand Prix in Moscow and Kazan, they became first twice.
However, now that the situation has developed in such a way that athletes’ views on the training process have diverged, further joint training and performances are simply not possible.
Annabelle has already started looking for a new partner and still intends to represent Russia.
