The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) has disqualified the retired figure skater Maria Sotskova for ten years for forging a medical certificate. The source has informed the TASS news portal about it.

The unnamed source: The Disciplinary Committee of RUSADA disqualified Sotskova for 10 years for forging a medical certificate, which she tried to use as explanation for violations of accessibility rules for testing. The situation is almost identical to the situation of the athlete Danil Lysenko. I think an official decision should soon appear on the RUSADA website.

According to the information I have, a prohibited substance was also found in one of the athlete’s doping tests.

The Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee is a structure independent of RUSADA that makes decisions about punishments for athletes and coaches suspected of violating anti-doping rules.

Honestly I get banning for doping but what about Morgan cypres who got a slap on the wrist for something more severe. Also RusFed seriously banned a retired skater???? Smh they literally do not care about doping so only to look good they ban a retired skater. literally what are you on Russia.
The sport is being treated as a Joke, just like Kami’s +5 GOE.

That’s Russia for for you. To make it look as though they take the issue of drug-taking seriously, they ban someone. But only someone who has left the sport already. RUSADA is a joke.
