Best dresses from JGP in Riga | ladies
Here is my fashion results after the ladies free program at JGP in Riga. What can I say, there were less interesting costumes than in the short program.
Rebecca Peng (USA)
I think this dress has quite interesting design. It seems simple but still attract the attention. I like this concept of two opposite sides, looks good in motion. Great geometric pattern on bodice and nice finishing with rhinestones. This dress looks really expensive.
Amber Glenn (USA)
Unfortunately, I haven’t found a photo(
I like the simplicity of this dress because I never understood why people so often try to make the costumes for Les Miserable to look rich. The gray color perfectly matches to the mood of the program. I also like the the dress has a sleeves. Bloody red crystals add the necessary color accents to the costume and emphasise the tragic side of the story. Nice choice.
Maria Sotskova (Russia)
My personal favourite it’s Maria Sotskova’s dress. For the basis was taken a traditional for the Romeo and Juliet ballet сhiton but the execution is modern and interesting. I like the color combination, unexceptional choice for R and J program. The top looks really high fashion! The belt of rhinestones add some shine. Great dress for a girl with such beautiful figure. Stylish, spicy and creative. It’s something new and not a 1001 dress for figure skating!
See who was the most stylish among ice dancers at JGP in Riga.
