Elena Ilinykh & Ruslan Zhiganshin costumes for the free dance

Today starts the first ISU senior b event in Russia – Mordovian Ornament in Saransk. One of the main intrigue of this event is rivalry between two Russian ice dancing teams Elena Ilinykh – Ruslan Zhiganshin and Ekaterina Bobrova Dmitri Soloviev.

I was very interested in Elena and Rusla’n costumes for the free dance and I think that i’m not the only one) So, here are some phot from the trainings of ice dancers:

Honestly, I don’t know yet whether I like this costumes or not. From one side I like the simplicity and bright accents. I like that the dress is closed and has sleeves, it will make her arm movements look more graphically. The hemline of her dress look amazing with this bright flowers and tiny black laces. I’m not so sure about Ruslan’s costumes….I don’t like choosen painting. And I wished they have used more bright and colorful colors for this program and also made not so heavy and long skirt for Elena.
