Elena Buyanova told that at the moment, in working with the 2020 European champion Alena Kostornaia, she is only concerned about the health of the figure skater.
In March, Kostornaia parted with coach Eteri Tutberidze and moved to CSKA to Buyanova. In August, the coach and the athlete should decide on the continuation of cooperation on an ongoing basis.

While we are a new group for her, which gives her a new breath, everything here is new for her. And then a routine will begin where everything becomes clear – both the readiness of the athlete and the ability of the coach to work with the athlete. We have not yet reached this routine for various reasons, but I can say for sure: at the moment, only one thing worries me – Alena’s health. I worry only about it and really want her health to be enough for work. This is the only way we can achieve real results.
You need to understand, Alena and I started our work not so long ago, and this work has enough various nuances, and we are already being tormented by questions about whether we will continue to work together.
