Mai took 3d place after the short program.
Mai Mihara: I never thought I could be so nervous. This is the first time this has happened to me – I go for a six-minute warm-up, and my legs are shaking.
But when I heard my name and saw the flags, posters from the fans, I almost burst into tears of happiness. Therefore, during my performance, nerves gave way to the pleasure of skating, I seemed to be charged with energy from the audience, this gives me confidence.
