The choreographer of the Eteri Tutberidze group, Alexei Zheleznyakov, spoke about the referring of Kamila Valieva’s case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), which was done by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Alexei Zheleznyakov: To be honest, I don’t understand what’s going on. I don’t understand why it took so long. I have full confidence that Valieva is a clean athlete. This is either a provocation or a fake sample. Some ill-wishers could pour something. They could pour it into a bottle or food. This is almost impossible to oversee.
I know all our girls like family. Valieva using doping is nonsense for me. She was at her peak, she didn’t need anything. She was given such a “doping” from God that anyone would envy. Kamila is not a stupid girl, to take doping before the Olympics and the World Championships is a death sentence. But I am sure that this is not her story, she would not have never touched any doping in her life!
