Yana Rudkovskaya: “I think that Trusova is the only capable of breaking the established system that girls from Tutberidze’s group finish with sports at a maximum of 20 years old.”
Producer Yana Rudkovskaya spoke about the absence of Russian female figure skaters among the nominees for the Forbes “30 before 30” rating.

Yana Rudkovskaya: There is only one skater on the list, and this is surprisingly not one of our quad girls, but a sensation of Russian men’s single skating, a guy who won both the Russian Nationals and European Championships this season, and became the winner of the team event at the Olympics – Mark Kondratiuk.
Mark performs on our “Union of Champions” tour – amazing guy who is in love with figure skating, the second such person I remember is Yuzuru Hanyu, not only a professional, but also a fan of this sport.
Of course, I really want his career to continue and develop just as rapidly, so that sports sanctions do not hold back his talent.
As for girls, I absolutely disagree that they are not in the rating. I am more than sure that Sasha Trusova’s Olympic final song has not been sung yet. Knowing this girl well, I can say that she will reach her second Olympics and jump all the content she has planned! I think that she is the only one capable of breaking the established system for the girls of Eteri Tutberidze’s coaching staff to finish with big sports at a maximum of 20 years old.
I really want Kamila Valieva to remain an Olympic champion in the team. I really hope that this super talented girl will be acquitted for the doping scandal. If this does not happen, most likely, she will also have the motivation to stay until the next Olympic Games.
It will be interesting to watch the Olympic champion in the individual competitions – Anya Shcherbakova. Anya is not only a fighter, but also the most mysterious figure skater for me! Who always has some winning joker up its sleeve! I won’t be surprised if Anya rests for a couple of seasons, waits out without “killing” her health, and then triumphantly returns with renewed vigor!
Therefore, I think that it’s too early for Forbes to write off Russian girls! It’s only the beginning.
By the way, the short-sighted Forbes does not yet know what juniors ladies are growing up. The next seasons of figure skating in Russia will be out of reach for the whole world! The first ten Russian girls will be able to easily beat all future world champions, which they have already decided to hold without us.
