As it became known to Match TV, the figure skating dance duet Alexandra Stepanova / Ivan Bukin did not fly to Beijing for the Olympic Games.
The reasons for the flight delay are unknown. There are no official comments on this issue.
Earlier, Match TV reported that the skaters would not take part in the team tournament and were preparing on their own for individual competitions.
There are two official Olympic flights left from Russia – on February 7 from Krasnoyarsk and on February 11 from Chelyabinsk, but this flight is no longer suitable for Stepanova and Bukin, since dance duets begin competition at the Olympics on February 12.
