Alina Zagitova admitted that she wasn’t comfortable to rejoice the Olympic gold because of Medvedeva.
Since Zhenya and I always went to press conferences together, I was embarrassed to show my joy, because I saw how she works. I skated in one group with her, I saw that she tried very hard. But then, at the awarding ceremony, I felt that I have a gold Olympic medal and I was happy. – said Alina.
