Anna Yanovskaya found a new partner and going to represent Hungary.

Yesterday president of Russian Figure skating federation Alexander Gorshkov confirmed this information and also told that federation gives her a permission for this switch:

Yanovskaya will skate for Hungary, our federation approved. This question has been recently solved.

According to Hungarian Association of Skating page on Facebook Anna will skate with Adam Lukacs:

Previously Anna tried out with a pair skater Ivan Gurianov, but didn’t turn out. I’m glad that she found a new partner, an ice dancer this time. His previous partner is Carolina Moscheni, in 2015 pair competed at European and Worlds Championships:

In August 2015, Moscheni and Lukacs announced the end of their partnership.

Carolina and Adam were coached by Barbara Fusar-Poli in Milan and by Igor Shpilband in Novi, USA. Interesting who’ll coach new team?

Anyway, good luck to Anna and Adam!

I first saw Anna and Sergei at Skate America 2015 and LOVED them. I was so sad when they split…I always thought they were destined for greatness like Meryl and Charlie or Tessa and Scott. But I’m glad that they’re moving on with their careers now, and if they start winning for other countries, I’m fine with it.

That’s a smart move to represent Hungary. Good luck to them!

Oh, smart move would have been not to split up with Mozgov((( Who knows what happened between them but I think it was a mistake(

      • OlgaLV says:

Of course it was a mistake, but life is such a tricky thing-you never know what will be next. But those international couples look very interesting, hope they will show good results.

At least they won’t have competition to qualify to European and Worlds Championships. The only issue will be a tech minimum, and I hope it’ won’t be a problem for them.
