Alexei Urmanov: no one leaves Julia in this difficult situation
Julia Lipnitskaya’s performance at Rostelecom cup was heartbreaking. There’s no clear information what actually happened. Whether it’s an old injury or new one, or some other problems with health. Here’s some updates on situation with Lipnitskaya.
General Director of Russian Federation of figure skating (FFKR) Alexander Kogan and Alexei Urmanov commented on situation with Julia Lipnitskaya’s health.
Tomorrow she will have a medical survey to find out which substance she exactly lacks in her body. I suppose that physiotherapy will be prescribed. Girl wants to fight, she finished her program at the Grand Prix in Moscow, even in such a situation. This is the power of temper. – Kogan said
And a comment from her coach Alexei Urmanov:
The mood is not very good, but it is clear and understandable. We are constantly in touch, everything is under control, no one leaves her in this difficult situation.
Tomorrow she will be tested for biochemistry, and then we will understand how to move on. There is a situation and it is necessary to sort it out. I am confident that together we will cope with everything. – Urmanov said
Hope that everything will be fine with Julia. Health is the most important thing and now it’s necessary to concentrate on it. Bad starts happens. It’s necessary to forget about what happened at Rostelecom cup and move on.

Who was the first example/student of Eteri?
Well, I don’t know who was her very first student, but her first successful student was Polina Shelepen
I think it probably has something to do with the fact that Eteri practically starved her to hold off puberty, and now her body is weakened. There’s a difference between carefully monitored dieting to lose a few pounds and starving oneself to the point that it’s dangerous. Unfortunately, Julia is the second example.
So, should we worry for Medvedeva?
Sadly, yes. Evgenia is not having a natural puberty. She is nearly 17, she should most likely have a woman’s body by now, and she still looks like a 13-year-old girl. That worries me quite a bit. The only thing I can imagine is that Eteri Tutberidze is doing something very wrong.
Well, she has some feminine lines, but puberty isn’t there ….yet.
It will have to come eventually. Eteri tried slowing things down for Julia, but that just postponed it. Evgenia will probably have it this year or next. Hopefully not during the Olympics.
Best wishes to Julia! ♥
