Latvian figure skater Deniss Vasiljevs has parted ways with Stephane Lambiel’s skating school in Switzerland after nine incredible years together.
The Champéry team shared a heartfelt message:
“After nine years in Champery, Deniss has decided to make a change. At 26 and entering his 11th Senior season, he is one of the most experienced competitors in the world, and we trust that he knows best what he needs. We look back on our time together with immense happiness and pride. We admire his courage to take on full responsibility for his career and we wish him all the very best on the new path he creates for himself, starting already next week at the Grand Prix in China. We’ll be rooting for you always.”
