Evgenia Medvedeva expressed her thougths about the level of the ladies’ figure skating competition at the Grand Prix of France.
“For those who didn’t watch today’s short program at the Grand Prix in France, here’s a brief summary: there were many mistakes, and almost no clean performances.
The only clean performances were by Isabeau Levito and Nastia Gubanova; all the others had some mistakes. Yes, they were relatively clean, but the others had mistakes.
There were many issues with the levels of steps, spins, and under-rotations that weren’t called. But everything they wanted to see from Nastia Gubanova, they saw it. They didn’t see it with the others. Well, let’s see what happens tomorrow.”
