Figure skater and actress, Marin Honda (22), and figure skater, Miyu Honda (19), have an official YouTube channel called “The Honda Sisters,” which was updated on the September 1st. In this update, Shoma Uno (25), who is two time world champion and in a relationship with Marin, made a special appearance.
The three of them have performed together in the figure skating ice show “One Piece on Ice – Episode of Alabasta.” The video introduces Shoma Uno’s special appearance with the note, “Finally, the first appearance! Special guest Shoma Uno! We took this during rehearsal, so we all have messy hair, but please bear with us.”
At the beginning of the video, Uno is called by Marin and Miyu, and he greets them with a simple “Hello” while exchanging glances with Marin.
Throughout the video, they answer questions from fans. When asked what they like about each other, Uno says, “There’s nothing specific. I like everything,” and explains, “For example, if I were to say I like Marin’s legs, that would put pressure on her to have those legs. So, I like everything.” Miyu comments, “You should make the title of this video ‘The Boyfriend’s Textbook.'”
Marin mentions that she appreciates how Uno treats everyone equally, like herself, Miyu, and Sara (a sister of Marin and Miyu). She also humorously adds, “One thing I don’t like is that he has smelly farts. Please don’t tease me about this.”
When asked about places they often go together, they synchronously say “Starbucks” with a “ready, set, go” count-off, showing their close connection.
Miyu brings up that Marin calls her “Mabo,” Sara is called “Sarabou,” but she’s the only one who gets called “Miyu-chan” and jokingly expresses her “complaint” about it. However, she laughs it off and says, “If you didn’t accept it, we wouldn’t be making this video.”
Fans reacted with comments like, “They’re such an amazing couple,” “I came here to see their affection,” “A couple of beautiful people,” “Boyfriend arrived!” and “I’m watching with a smile that goes beyond just grinning.”
