According to “R-Sport,” the skater left Tutberidze’s group a few days ago.

Currently, she is not looking for a new coaching team as she is likely to retire from skating. However, the final decision on this matter will be known later.

Usacheva is a medalist of the Junior Grand Prix Final and won the silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2020.

In the fall of 2021, during the Grand Prix stage in Japan, Daria suffered a serious hip injury and has not competed since then.

Or maybe it’s not primarily to do with sanctions against Russia, but the fact that Daria had a very painful, very complicated injury and may not be able to skate the way she could skate before anymore. Yes, she said she got her triples back, but do we know how painful it might be for her to jump now?
