The press service of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has announced this.
The hearings will involve the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA), the International Skating Union (ISU), and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
“The Panel of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, responsible for the arbitration proceedings between the Russian Anti-Doping Agency, the International Skating Union, the World Anti-Doping Agency, and Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, will hold hearings with the participation of the parties and their representatives on September 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2023,” the press service statement said.
The hearings will take place in closed session in Lausanne, with the possible participation of some of the parties involved through video conferencing.
CAS clarified that at this time it is not possible to determine when a final decision will be reached in the case.
In December 2021, Valieva tested positive for trimetazidine, and the result became known during the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
At the Games, the figure skater won gold in the team event, but the award ceremony did not take place due to the initiation of an investigation.
