Kim Chaeyeon finished third at the Korean Nationals.
When asked about her impressions of the competition, Kim Chaeyeon expressed, “I was disappointed with the mistake in the short program, but I’m really happy that I did well in the free program.” She emphasized her satisfaction with the clean triple lutz, which she had made a mistake on in the short program.
Last year, Kim Chaeyeon deliver a strong performance at the World Championships and finished 6th place. When asked about her goals for this seasons’ Worlds, she said, “As this is my second World Championships this year, I hope to perform better than last time and achieve better results.” When asked about specific goals, she added with a smile, “I hope to improve my ranking a bit, and it would be great if the elements I perform are better than before.”
