Nikolai Morozov commented on the rumor that his daughter Annabelle Morozov didn’t get a release from the Russian Figure Skating Federation to represent France.

Annabelle Morozov’s father stated that the figure skater did not request permission to change citizenship.

Earlier, The Sakating Lesson reported that the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKR) did not allow Morozov to switch teams.

Currently, Annabelle is training with Igor Eremenko in the United States.

“We did not request permission from the FFKR for Annabelle and Igor to switch teams.

Currently, the skaters are preparing for the test skates that will take place in Moscow in September, and they have no intentions to change their plans,” said Nikolai Morozov.
