Alexander Zhulin spoke about the likelihood of a positive decision for Kamila Valieva by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Earlier, it became known that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Skating Union (ISU) filed an appeal to CAS against the decision of the RUSADA disciplinary committee to find the skater not guilty of violating anti-doping rules.
Alexander Zhulin: I think that our chances are very small. Because, in my opinion, it is clear what is happening in the world now and where everything is moving. So while our chances are small. If now, relatively speaking, Russia was recognized throughout the world as a winning country, then the decisions of WADA and other organizations would be different.
In the meantime, everything will continue in this direction; we won’t stand a chance. Personally, I have little hope (for a successful outcome in the Valieva case).

Nice try of throwing a ‘the world is against poor us’ card, Mr Zhulin, but everyone, no matter whether a “winning country” backs them or not, is equal before the law. Sports politics is one thing, laws are a different thing.
