Renat Laishev, President of the Sambo-70 Sports and Education Center, told that Russia should not recognize the results of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in the case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva.

Renat Laishev: I think the CAS decision will be predictable. I am sure that this decision should not be recognized. This is the impotent malice of our competitors, who take it out on our brilliant talents. Our whole country empathized Kamila at the Olympics, we all saw how they mocked a 15-year-old girl. Kamila Valieva is now a symbol of Russia. Therefore, it is not worth recognizing court decisions and in no case should we give away team medals.
