Morisi Kvitelashvili has suspended his work with Eteri Tutberidze and moved to Italy to train with Lorenzo Magri
The bronze medalist of the European Championship 2020, Georgian figure skater Morisi Kvitelashvili, has suspended work with Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze and moved to Italy.

This decision was made due to logistics problems caused by the situation in the world, it was made jointly with Tutberidze. Kvitelashvili is currently working in Egna with a team of coaches that includes famous Italian specialist Lorenzo Magri.
Morisi also confirms this information: “Yes, I am training in Italy at the moment. It was a joint decision with the Georgian federation and my coaches. Perhaps some moments in the training process will still change.”
Kvitelashvili is 27 years old and he has trained with Tutberidze throughout his senior and junior careers. In addition to the bronze of the European Championship – 2020, he has the gold of the Grand Prix stage in Sochi last season. He has also competed at the Olympics twice (2018 and 2022), placing 24th and 10th respectively.
