Choreographer Daniil Gleikhengauz commented on the withdrawal of Alexandra Trusova from the free program at the test skates.

Daniil Gleikhengauz: The task for the test skates was to show programs. The shape has not been fully gained yet, but we are satisfied with all the performances that our girls showed. All did well.
Unfortunately, Sasha Trusova has a small back injury, so she was only able to skate the short program, for which many thanks to her. We were ready to withdraw her from the test skates, because her back really hurt, and Sasha almost did not train. But Sasha herself expressed a desire, for the sake of the fans, to skate at least a short program.

Bless Sasha. Who knows what’s hindering her the most. Injury is injury, the pressure, uncertainty and worries of these days a whole another story. She’s injured, her loved one got a summons. Peace, love and support, Sasha!

There is no such thing as MINOR back injury, Sasha is a fighter, I really admire her. I wish her the best.
I like that Alena Kostornaya came to the event, even she did not skate, I am glad I saw her as well.
