“I’ll never believe in Tutberidze’s non-compliance with the principles of fair sports. This is not evidence at all.” Tarasova and Laishev spoke out in support of Eteri Tutberidze after a comment from Meagan Duhamel
Tatiana Tarasova and Renat Laishev spoke out in support of Eteri Tutberidze after a comment from Canadian figure skater Meagan Duhamel.
Earlier, Tutberidze called the suspension of Russian skaters from international competitions a violation of the principle of fair play. (You can read the full comment of Tutberidze here: )
Meagan Duhamel tweeted in response to our translation of the worlds of Tutberidze: “In Eteri’s presence, awards weren’t given at the Olympics because of her lack of “FairPlay”. So. Her comments are ludicrous.”
Of course Tarasova immediately felt the need to answer and defend Eteri.
Tatiana Tarasova: There is no need to react to this, you can write anything on Twitter. I will never believe in Tutberidze’s non-compliance with the principles of fair sports. This is not evidence at all.
They write some completely unconfirmed information, and everyone immediately perceives it as the truth, I do not agree with this.

Renat Laishev: These are some cheap propaganda, Duhamel’s envy of our skaters. We have the coolest, most beautiful skaters and the best coach Eteri Tutberidze! I am proud that they are from Sambo-70.
Well, Duhamel just can’t calm down. Now, in general, all attention is focused on our figure skating, everyone reacts to its every sneeze.

And where are the rest of the knights usually defending the honor of Eteri? Zhulin, Zheleznyakov, Gleikhengauz?) Ok, let’s wait.
