Sambo-70 president Renat Laishev was more talkative. Though it was hard to understand what he wanted to say even in Russian.

Renat Laishev: I am not aware of this information, but I believe that our guys, our students are our people. There is no need to make any sensation out of this, these are working moments. Everyone chooses their own path, they have the right to be in shape, but this does not mean that they have begun to treat their homeland, our national team differently. We are more tolerant, more democratic than all these Westerners. The main thing is not to oppose what raised you, what made you a great master. We and only we treat the world as it should be according to universal standards.

Tatiana Tarasova believes that it’s not true)

Tatiana Tarasova: I don’t participate in gossip. I am in Russia, and they are in America, this was not published in any magazines or newspapers, there were no interviews either, so this is untrue.

Now we also have the information that Davis and Smolkin got married back in March which will make it easier for Gleb to get the US citizenship.

Oh looking forward to read comments by Zhulin, Averbukh and all those skaters and coaches who was pushed away by Russian Federation in order to sent Diana to the Olympics.
