Zabiyako’s new partner will be Canadian figure skater Zachary Daleman, younger brother of 2017 World Championships bronze medalist Gabrielle Daleman. Zabijako and Daleman will represent Canada and train with Bruno Marcotte.

Natalia’s former coach Vladislav Zhovnirsky told why she decided to resume her sports career.

Vladislav Zhovnirsky: Natasha got inspired with sports, she really wanted to return. During the ISU training camp Natasha tried to team up with a partner from Canada.

The specialists liked them, and the guys themselves decided to start training in their partner’s homeland. For them this is the best option for working together at the moment.

I myself contacted Bruno Marcotte and asked his opinion about the new pair, to which he became interested and agreed to work with the guys. I treat Natasha very well and I will help her in any case.

And a comment from Tatiana Tarasova

Tatiana Tarasova: We always have someone to compete, but it’s a pity that we lost a good girl.

I’m glad that she found a partner there. Apparently we didn’t have such.

Every person is a loss. We just have to create such an environment that no one leaves us. Although in the world of figure skating everyone is used to such transfers. A lot of people came to me too.

We can wish the girl good luck and a happy journey. It won’t be easy.
