The lawyer said that WADA’s chief legal adviser, Ross Wenzel, was interested in the proposal.
“WADA will consider the issue. It would be nice to understand what is the responsibility of a coach of a young athlete.
A minor athletes may not understand what drugs he’s given. He cannot get them on his own, as in the case of special heart medicines for Kamila Valieva.”
Tarasti proposes to introduce a personal suspension for a coach – this means a ban on participation in international competitions, while coaching can continue as usual.
It is not known when the proposal will be considered.

This is not a straightforward one. Minors have also parents, doctors, other people in their lives besides the coaches. Would be unfair to blame the coaches for all the wrongdoing happening to the minor athletes…
WADA is just now considering holding the coaches of minors responsible for doping incidents!?
