Alexandra Trusova: We’ve made the content easier, kept one quadruple, it’s an easy option. I’m glad that I managed to skate clean, but I want more quads.
I’m not in my best shape at the moment. I was in good shape at the test skates. I will try to get it back and qualify for the Olympics.
I am happy with my performances. I would like to show more complex content in both short and free, program but overall I’m happy. Today I was worried because the preparation was not quite complete, there were not enough program run-through.
We planned to do three quads, but there was too little time to prepare. Even with one quadruple I skated today for the first time since my injury.
Now I will have a few days off, and then I will return to training. I want to complicate the content, as well as to work on steps sequences and spins.
Over the past couple of years, I have changed a lot – both internally and externally. I got acquainted with different coaching approaches, gained a lot of experience. I think every season I get stronger.
My decision to change my coach? I always make decisions myself, I don’t regret anything. I think that Eteri Georgievna is more suitable for me.
