Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev are ready to come back

Eventually we can take a look at Russian dancers.  Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev showed their free dance to Anna Karenina.

What can I say? I’m not impressed, especially taking into account that this dance they kept from the last season. I like Ekaterina’s image. Nice silhouette of the dress (they showed Ekaterina’s beautiful long legs), the colour is great for her new hair color. The character and image of Anna Karenina suits her a lot. But as for me, the character of Dmitri is not clear and not bright enough. He looks like a free application to his partner.

But I’m not sure about the music. It’s not bright enough and doesn’t help to make a deep impression. This dance needs to be skated clean and powerful to be successful. And thank goodness no train and no one died in the end of the program.

I like that they create new lifts, but they look insecure. They also look slow. Where is their famous speed and soft knees? This dance doesn’t look ready, lots of work still need to be done. Their first start its Skate Canada, so they still has some time for preparation. But….what can I say, that’s not the dance and music of the winners.
