Evgeni Plushenko about his student Anastasia Tarakanova who won her second JGP and got the JP Final.

Evgeni: Nastya won Grand Prix in Ljubljana and made it to the Grand Prix finals, that’s great. I think by the end of the season she will be able to perform a quad toe loop in her program, she is already very close to it. She also works on the quad lutz. For sure, she will have a quad next season.

She no longer has breakdowns as before, this is important. Nastya is a hard worker, she just needed the right direction. I am grateful to the coach Ksenia Ivanova, she is from Kazan, a very talented young coach, who made a good tandem with Anastasia.
