Adelia Petrosian and Petr Gumennik have been approved by the IOC to compete as neutral athletes at the 2026 Milan Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved figure skaters Adelia Petrosaan and Petr Gumennik to participate in the Milan Olympic Games as neutral athletes.
This was reported by TASS, citing the IOC press service.
In September, Petrosaan and Gumennik won the qualifying tournament in Beijing and secured their spots for the Olympics. Afterward, the athletes had to await a decision from a special IOC commission for approval and an invitation to the Games.
The 2026 Olympic Games will be held from February 6 to 22 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
