“You spent yourself on the two quads. And look at how you ‘died’ out there. You need to keep doing the other elements as well.” Gleikhengauz to Adelia Petrosian who landed two quads for the first time this season

Adelia Petrosian landed two quad toe loops for the first time this season at the Russian Grand Prix in Omsk, performing out of competition and receiving feedback from coach Daniil Gleikhengauz on her stamina and technical elements. Here’s a translation.
Figure skater Adelia Petrosian landed two quad toe loops at the Russian Grand Prix stage in Omsk. The first jump was executed in combination with a double toe loop, and the second was a solo jump.
In her program, she also performed a triple salchow, triple loop, fell on the triple lutz, then completed a triple flip–triple toe loop combination, a solo triple flip, and a triple flip–double axel–double axel sequence.
Petrosian skated out of competition at the event and received a score of 143.60 points for her performance. Until now, she had not landed clean quads this season.
After her skate, choreographer and coach Daniil Gleikhengauz addressed Petrosian:
“We’ve closed the chapter with the toe loops. At the same time, we realized you need to keep doing the other elements as well. You spent yourself on the two toe loops. And look at how you ‘died’ out there,” said Gleikhengauz, whose comments were broadcast on Channel One.

Two quads (one in combo), six triples (incl a 3-3 combo and a valuable 3f-2a-2a seq) — that’s dying?? I think she deserved a pat on the back and an ice cream cone for that performance!
