The skater shared that it took her some time to process the emotion of securing her Olympic qualification, especially after a race against time to turn her final opportunity into success following ankle surgery. However, she noted that her training has been improving steadily.
Relieved and focused after officially qualifying for the Olympics, Hendrickx reflected on her preparation. “We’re focusing heavily on the artistic aspects since we didn’t have much time over the summer to refine them. At the same time, we’re maintaining my technical level, aiming for a theoretically higher score than I achieved in China,” she said.
