Vasilisa Kaganovskaya stated that she has no thoughts about the Olympic Games.
Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Maxim Nekrasov won the the Grand Prix Final of Russia with a score of 205.58.
“We came out to skate quite calm. We didn’t think that we had no right to make mistakes. Instead, we skated fearlessly, wanting to make it powerful and beautiful. We wanted to showcase our work since the Russian Championships. I hope we succeeded.
I have no thoughts about the upcoming Olympics. Logically, of course, this is our main victory in our joint career,” Kaganovskaya said.
In December, the International Skating Union (ISU) announced that Russians would be allowed to qualify for the 2026 Olympics in a neutral status – one participant/pair in each category, plus one alternate.

I’m an American and Im so happy that Russia will be allowed to participate in the Olympics. Honestly, it couldnt be the Olympics without the Russians.
Russia has produced some of the best athletes of our time and their figure skaters are the best. Vasi and Max are my favorites of all time. Right up there with Ekaterina and Sergei, my other two favorites. Russia always has my heart. ❤️
