Ice dancer Valeriy Angelopol has been expelled from Natalia Linichuk’s group due to violations. This was reported on the social networks of Linichuk’s team, which works at the “Angels of Plushenko” Academy. The reason given was “regular violations of the training process” by the 21-year-old athlete.
In 2023, Angelopol won the Russian Grand Prix Final in ice dance with Vasilisa Kaganovskaya. Subsequently, he skated with Arina Ushakova and Alexandra Shinkarenko, but partnerships with them also dissolved.
In August 2024, Angelopol began joint training with Daria Kareva. However, they announced that they would be missing the current season because they are not yet able to compete in the same division.
