Nina Pinzarrone spoke about her winning bronze at the 2025 European Championships. Here’s a translation of her comments posted on Sporza.

Nina Pinzarrone (18), just like last year, claimed the bronze medal at the European Figure Skating Championships.

“I’m satisfied that I managed to stay up,” Pinzarrone responded. “But I did feel tired towards the end and wasn’t able to execute everything perfectly. However, the audience helped me push through to the end.”

“I’m happy with a medal, but I had hoped for a medal with slightly better performances.”

In the scoring, Pinzarrone was particularly penalized for her triples some of which were marked as under rotated. “I’ll have to review the footage. There were jumps that, in my feeling, were okay, but according to the judges, they were not. I need to work more on that.”

“I was definitely more nervous today than yesterday. But I just tried to focus more on myself. During my routine, I felt the nerves, and in the future, I need to try to completely push them aside and be more confident.”

“Of course, I was more motivated today because I felt that I had been too harshly penalized by the judges in my short program. I wanted to prove the opposite today. That did play on my mind, yes. But this is something I can learn from.”
