Adam Siao Him Fa has withdrawn from the Grand Prix Final for medical reasons, it was reported by the French Federation of Ice Sports:
“It is with regret that we announce that Adam Siao Him Fa has suffered an ankle injury during the Grand Prix of China. Following a thorough medical assessment, doctors have recommended a three-week break to allow for a full recovery.
Adam and his team are obviously disappointed by this situation, but the health and wellbeing of our athlete remain our top priority. This break is essential for Adam to return in top form, with the main goal of being ready for the European Championships to be held at the end of January in Tallinn, Estonia.
We are confident that with rest and proper care, Adam will resume competition with all the strength and determination that characterize him.
We thank you for your ongoing support and will keep you updated on Adam’s progress.”
According to the Grand Prix series results, Mikhail Shaidorov from Kazakhstan is the first substitute candidate. The competition’s final will be held from December 5 to 8 in Grenoble.
