At the event, Shoma Uno expressed his desire to attempt new moves as a professional skater, highlighting the backflip. “It’s a bit scary, but since people are doing it, I also want to try it,” he said. “It’s dynamic and exciting, and I would like to add it when I do uptempo programs. I want to do something different from my active competitive days,” he said showing enthusiasm for mastering this “new move.”
“So far, it has been business as usual from my competitive days. Now that the ice shows are winding down, I think it’s time for a change in my life and work, something different from before, which I’m looking forward to,” he also added with a smile.
