Alexandra Trusova answered questions about jumps and her wedding. Alexandra has officially changed her last name to Ignatova and will participate in the Russian national team control skates in Saint Petersburg on September 14-15. Here’s a translation of her comments.

Q: The most memorable moment of the wedding?
Alexandra Trusova: Probably during the outdoors ceremony. When I walked out, it was very atmospheric, heartfelt and very memorable. I had a very big, heavy dress. And Makar, of course, was waiting there, standing. Probably that’s the most memorable [moment]. And the scariest part was, of course at the registry office. At first, I was not nervous, but then we started walking in, and I started shaking. I don’t know why, but it was really exciting.
Q: When will you go to the Maldives to use your wedding gift?
Alexandra Trusova: In June. Maybe after the New Year, there will be a few days, but definitely not to the Maldives, because it’s a long flight. Maybe we’ll manage to get away somewhere, but it’s not certain.”
