Adelina Sotnikova stated that the Olympics are not complete without Russian athletes.
For the 2024 Paris Games, Russian athletes have been allowed to participate under a neutral status after being checked for compliance with IOC conditions. Fifteen people accepted the invitation.
“Athletes strive for Olympic gold their entire lives. It’s a competition where the best of the best fight for the podium. Without our athletes, these Games can hardly be considered complete.
I believe that one day the true Olympic spirit will prevail over politics, and our guys will once again be winning medals.
The main thing is to continue training, achieving new heights every day. Then, victory will surely be ours,” posted the Sochi 2014 Olympic champion in women’s singles skating.
