Polish single skater Ekaterina Kurakova has changed coaches and will train with Florent Amodio in Voisins, France.
She discussed this in a podcast on the Eurosport channel and also posted on her Instagram. Kurakova, who is 21 years old, trained in Canada with Brian Orser until 2021, after which she moved to Italian coach Lorenzo Magri. She placed 11th at the 2024 World Championships and did not qualify for the free skate at the European Championships.

I’m very grateful to Italy and all the people for all the experience that I received there. It made me grow up a lot! There have been many small and slightly bigger changes during the past two years. I’m grateful to my ex coaches for all what we came through together! But it’s time for one of the biggest changes in my life! It’s new Page of my Life! Of course it’s stressful for now but I’m filled with hope.”
