The Honorary President of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia (FFKKR), Valentin Piseev, has expressed doubt about the imminent return of Russian figure skaters to international competitions.
“I don’t think there’s talk of a swift return. We have the desire to return, we are trying, but considering the attitude against us in general, I don’t see us returning in the near future.
The events organized by the Federation and Channel One, in my opinion, have greatly captivated the athletes. And it’s not just about the competitions, they’re also well paid for performances. So, in my opinion, most skaters do not feel the absence of international competitions. Not everyone went to the Grand Prix and received prize money. And now there are many opportunities, thanks to sponsors for their support,” said Piseev.

I hope Russia puts senior competitions back on YouTube next season so it’s not so hard to watch. I support Russia coming back to ISU but I also love all these Russian competitions so I get to see more Russians skate.
I hope Russia will put the senior competitions back on YouTube bc this last season was hard to watch. I love Russia’s competitions bc it gives more Russians opportunities to skate and for me to view. I will be happy if they come back to ISU but don’t blame them if they don’t want to.
