“Like, seriously, being a figure skater, I’ve spent my whole life… Damn, I win World Championships and European Championships wearing undies. We have transparent skirts, we have elements with our butts up in undies.
Basically, I’ve lived my entire life in a world where they overly sexualize us. Even some male coaches might be like, ‘Hey, lost weight? Boobs looking smaller.’ In our world, being a figure skater equals beauty, equals appreciating female beauty, equals not holding back on anything.
I grew up in this world where hearing it from a guy is kinda normal, like, ‘Why are your boobs so small? Components (program components scores – ed.) gonna be small, need that sexy shape!’ And we’re like, ‘Oh, okay… Let me grab that push-up bra!’ – spilled Evgenia Medvedeva on the ‘No Comments’ show.
