Here’s a translation of Loena Hendrickx’s comments made for Sporza about her performance in the short program at the European Championships.
Loena leads after the SP with a score of 74.66
“I am satisfied, especially with my score. But something was missing to make it perfect. I didn’t feel 100% confident on my skates. I think that comes from the tension. Sometimes you glide over the ice, today it was a bit choppy. These are, of course, details that I am working on myself. The outside world may not see that.”
“I was satisfied with my spins, though. I have worked hard to bring them back to the top level.”
