Matteo Rizzo announced on his Instagram page that he has to withdrew from Italian Nationals due to an injury.

“Hello everyone, the moment of speaking has arrived.

As you could see, I withdrew from Italian nationals. I got an injury, and the last weeks were crucial to understand and that is why I’m here just now to tell you!

To stay in general, I have a problem on the right hip that has stopped me.

The good thing is that, after speaking with the doctors, they said that I can perform at European championships, and after that I will get a surgery to resolve my problem.
