Maiia Khromykh stated about her goal for the season.

Khromykh performed her short program to the song “Ashes” by Celine Dion during the test skates. Last season, the figure skater did not compete due to an injury.
“It was very nerve-wracking; I haven’t performed for a long time. Right now, I don’t fully understand what’s happening. I think this is one of the most important days of my life.
I tried not to think about the performance itself but just enjoyed it.
A week ago, I was very scared; I told myself that I had worked hard and was ready for this. My goal for the season is to make it to the competitions, ha-ha,” said the figure skater.
