Tatiana Tarasova doesn’t consider Daniel Grassl’s departure from Tutberidze’s group a significant loss.

Today, Italian figure skater Daniel Grassl announced his return to his home country and thanked Eteri Tutberidze for their collaboration.

“It seems that he likes life in Italy more than here with us. I don’t like him as a figure skater. For Eteri Georgievna, this is a small loss, but for Mr. Grassl, it’s a serious one,” said Honored USSR Coach Tatiana Tarasova.

Grassl is the 2022 Europeans silver medalist. His work with Tutberidze became known in January 2023.
